Sunset Cottages located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL is the perfect spot for your beach vacation! This low-rise, 19-unit property is nestled along the white sandy beaches of The Gulf of Mexico and allows guests to enjoy a vacation filled with peace and uncrowded beaches. The courtyard style architecture puts the swimming pool in the center of the complex for easy access. Each unit has private balconies or patios allowing for a wonderful place to unwind. Enjoy nearby restaurants, entertainment, entertainment, and shopping. Retreat and relax while making great memories along the beaches of The Emerald Coast.
This third floor, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo includes: A fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, a dining area, and balcony with partial gulf views. A living room with a queen size sleeper sofa and large flat screen TV. A set of twin bunk beds in the hallway (Great for small kids). A master bedroom with a king size bed, flat screen TV, a full-size bathroom, and a balcony with pool views. A second bedroom with a queen-size bed, flat screen TV, and full-size bathroom. Washer and dryer in unit.

We go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable: Plenty of pillows on each bed along with extra sheets and blankets if needed. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, dish liquid, laundry detergent, bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. All-purpose cleaner.

We have a pontoon boat that is rented exclusively to our guests. The boat needs to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. The boat launches out of The Fort Walton Beach Yacht Basin.
Discounted monthly rates available November- February. To get a monthly rate quote during this time frame you must enter a 28-night stay or more. Feel free to contact us should you have further questions.

Wonderful place to stay
The place was very clean when we got there and it had everything that we needed. Thank you so much for all the help when we needed it
Sidewalk to beach, takes maybe one minute. BBQ grills were nice, the unit was clean, well maintained. We had 5 adults in our group. Plenty of room. Best part was the be ach being so close, it was easy to go back and forth. Bbq grills were by pool, so could swim/visit. Would definitely recommend. From our balcony, could see the ocean. Easy check in and out.

We have been coming to Fort Walton for about 5 years now and truly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cottages room 6C this year! It was perfect for my family of 4 and my siste rs family of 3. I love how they have made use of the space provided, we had everything we needed and truly appreciated several extra kitchen appliances that are not always provided in rental condos/homes. Property was amazing, zero complaints!

The air co nditioning works great, it is consistently cold in all rooms. It is not quite a beach front property, since it is located behind another beach front condo. However, the unit is on the top floor so you can see a bit of the beach from the balcony. Love the umbrella and beach chair service that is included. The location is perfect for us, away from the noisy part of town and only 15-20 minutes to shopping and restaurant. We definitely will be back for a longer stay!

by Ashley C.We had a a great stay at Sunset Cottages 6c! The condo was exactly as listed and even had a great view of the ocean off the kitchen balcony! They have a nice pool with outside bathrooms and an outside shower for rinsing off the sand after you get back from the beach! There is also a sidewalk right beside the condo that leads all the way to the beach so no crossing any roads to get to the beach! We had a great stay here and will be back again!! Highly recommend!!!

Great getaway

We stayed three nights in cottage 6C on top floor with partial ocean views at the end of the building in front of you to your left standing on front balcony. Unit has everything you need , I mean everything but your groceries. Unit comes with beach service, umbrella and two chairs. The heated pool outback is nice. We enjoyed our trip and thanks for having us.

It truly felt like a home away from home and we will continue to come back year after year. It's so easy to get to the beach, much quicker than if you were staying in a multi-for condo and had to wait for the elevator. We are feet in the sand in no time!
+ MoreCondo had been beautifully renovated. Barn style grey laminate flooring throughout was so nice and easy to maintain. LOVED the new tile shower with rain head/massage sprayers/handheld sh ower head and the 100 gallon water heater ensured we all had a hot shower. Kitchen cabinets were new and kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking. We loved the Keurig/Coffee Maker combo. Samsung washer/dryer combo update was nice too. Loved having beach towels provided in the condo and plenty of towels in the bathrooms four our family.

Absolutely one of our favorite spots, ocean view, only a few steps to the beach, plenty of stores and restaurants within minutes, the pool was nice, and the condo was beautiful. You can tell the owners care, it was clean, up to date, they even had an institutions booklet typed out. We have added this to our we would return list.

Rockin Tacos was delicious for dinner on the beach. We went to crab island , which was BEAUTIFUL, via a rental pontoon through Island Watersports, highly reccomend! Ate dinner at Fudpuckers, so much to do there while you wait. The Gulfarium was a blast, with multiple different shows to see including dolphins and sea lions! Watching the sunset walking along the Harborwalk was relaxing, plenty todo there as well!

Sunset Cottage 6C was beyond our expectation, incredibly comfortable, clean and fully stocked with amenities plus! Location was excellent! We enjoyed early morning walks to beach, close to restuarants and the unit conveniently located for day trips to Destin (Crab Island and Big Kahuna), Seaside and Grayton beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were in Florida for our granddaughter's wedding. Our daughter and two other granddaughters stayed with us. Perfect location. Steps from a beautifu l beach. Ted, the maintenance man, was very attentive and helpful. Very friendly beach assistant! The condo is very nice and was super clean. We will definitely be back!

This place was all we hoped for and more. EVERYTHING about our stay was perfect! Cottage was so clean and all the amenities! We did not want for anything. It’s all there. We had a great time. We have been booking with Kimberly Lange for 5 years! We love the Sunset Cottages. It has everything you need and more and just steps to the beach.
Plenty of room for 2 families. We had 7 people total. Loved how equipped the kitchen was. We have stayed in this complex before and it never disappoints!
Absolutely loved this place. Had no complaints whatsoever.
